Academic Enrichment Program (Grades 1–9)
Mental Health
Empowering students with emotional awareness and coping skills that build confidence, resilience, and balance.
Program Overview
At Sunday School, we believe that mental health is just as important as academic success. In today’s fast-paced and often demanding world, children face pressures both inside and outside the classroom. That’s why we are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where conversations about mental health are normalized and encouraged.
We actively work to remove the stigma surrounding mental health by teaching children that it’s okay to talk about their feelings, ask for help, and support one another. By introducing these ideas at a young age, we empower students to build emotional awareness, confidence, and resilience, skills that directly support their success in school and everyday life.
Mental well-being plays a crucial role in a child’s ability to focus, learn, and build healthy relationships. Through guided discussions and age-appropriate activities, we help students understand their emotions, manage stress, and develop positive coping strategies they can carry with them both in and out of the classroom.
